Reviews and Ratings
The hotel's location is perfect, close to all the city attractions, and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. However, the rooms were disappointing with dated and tatty shower rooms, no baths, and rotting furniture. The dining options were limited, but the hotel is away from the main tourist areas, creating a quieter atmosphere.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms had been flooded at one point, so they were quite small and a little dusty. On the bright side, the services were very pleasant and helpful. The location was not in the center of SOHO but still fantastic for exploring lower Manhattan, and the dining options, while available at the property, were limited in the neighborhood. Overall, a standard stay with some ups and downs.
The hotel was much bigger than most NYC hotels, very clean, and our bed & pillows were soooo comfy. However, being above a restaurant with loud music until 3 in the morning was a downside.
The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to the subway and plenty of nearby dining options. The rooms are small but adequate for basic needs, and the service was friendly but lacked some communication skills. The surrounding area offers a mix of attractions and amenities, but there is a slight concern about safety in the neighborhood.
I was not happy that the receptionist ignored me all night, and others had to wait a long time during check-in. My room was missing the fridge despite booking for one. However, the place was very quiet, which suited me as I work at night and need my sleep. The hotel is unfortunately above a loud bar with a band playing until 3 AM, which doesn't match my preference. Overall, don't expect the advertised amenities.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quiet and comfortable stay at the hotel. The room had some minor issues with humidity and noise from leaking pipes but was overall cozy. The service was exceptional, with helpful staff making my stay enjoyable. The location was perfect for exploring the city, close to shopping areas and various attractions. The dining options on-site were convenient, although a bit pricey. Overall, a good value for the money.
The hotel offers a great location, perfect for exploring the city, with nearby restaurants and bars. The rooms, though a little small, have wooden floors and ample bathrooms with provided body wash and shampoos. However, they may not be suitable for larger families. The service was exceptional, with friendly and prompt assistance, including useful transport advice. The location is ideal, with a subway nearby and plenty of shopping and dining options within walking distance. Though the dining options are within walking distance, having onsite dining available would enhance the experience. Overall, a comfortable stay with a few minor room size issues.
